"House in the Forest". The old 1927 club house at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Rich dark wood, large stone fireplace, seating in the stone floor turret is magical - in the summer you can hear roaring Bow Falls below. A favorite with the locals, owner Erwin Widmer has operated Ticinos since the late 1970's. The Swiss raclette and the hazelnut breaded chicken breast stuffed with goats cheese are outstanding. Casual friendly ambience.
