BLACK BEAR
Black to cinnamon brown. Found in valley bottoms and forested areas. Approx 40 in the Park.

COUGAR
Largest Canadian cat, approx 7-10 in the Park. Rarely seen.

ELK
Ungulate. Bull elk have large antlers. View Banff Springs golf course, Vermillion Lakes.

MULE DEER
Large ears. View along roadways.

BIG HORN SHEEP
Ungulate. Rams have large curved horns. Ewes have short horns. View Sulphur Mountain summit, Lake Minnewanka.
